Policies and services
Ticket Policies
Shows sponsored by the Alma Education and Arts Foundation are refundable up until 24 hours prior to a show. After that, your tickets may be donated back to us as a tax deductible contribution.
If you misplace your tickets, or get to the show without them, simply contact the Box Office with the name of the person who originally purchased the tickets. We will be happy to reprint them.
This theatre uses the "New York" seat numbering system. Odd numbered seats are on the left and even numbered seats are on the right.
Audience Courtesy Policies
In consideration of others, cell phones and pagers must be turned off or set to silent mode during performances.
Our contracts with the artists prohibit the making of video or audio recordings and the taking of photographs for any performance.
Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket. For your comfort, and for the pleasure of those seated nearby, you are encouraged to carefully consider whether a show will be enjoyed by a young child.
We begin all performances at the scheduled time. Please make every effort to be in your seat before the performance begins. If you do arrive late, we will ask you to wait until an appropriate point in the performance to enter the theatre and take your seat. The House Manager will inform you when you may enter.
Special Services
Passenger unloading and loading is designated along the curb immediately in front of the front plaza.
Parking for patrons with disabilities is designated directly across the street from the front plaza.
Entrance ramps are located on both sides of the front plaza.
All areas of the building, including all restrooms are fully accessible to those with disabilities.
The theatre is equipped with both wheelchair seating locations as well as seats with swing away arms. So that we can accommodate your needs, please request special seating when making your ticket purchase.
The theatre is equipped with a hearing enhancement system free of charge to patrons who wish to use it. The units are available at the Box Office for all shows on a first come first serve basis.
Parking is plentiful on the north, east, and west sides of the theatre.
Group discounts are available for all performances. The amount of the discount is determined by the nature and size of the group. For further information, contact the Box Office. Tickets ordered and/or purchased at a discounted group rate may be changed, refunded, or added to up until 14 days prior to the show. After that time, adjustments to the order will not be possible.
Season Tickets
If you are not already a season ticket subscriber, we invite you to consider becoming one. Season subscribers have first choice of their seats for all shows. Season tickets represent approximately 15% savings compared to the cost of single tickets for all shows. You have all of your tickets in advance and have no need to worry about sold out shows. Plus, you are assured of a variety of top flight entertainment throughout the year! You can convert single show tickets to season tickets and receive full credit for the single show tickets already purchased.
Gallery
The Alma Performing Arts Center has a wonderful gallery for visual arts displays. It is located just off the main lobby to the right. There is always an interesting exhibit in the gallery, and it changes regularly. Every time you come to a show, take a few minutes before you enter the theatre or at intermission to enjoy the current exhibit.
